Strashkov

Family house

The roofing of the family house in Straškov is specific for the use of visible BSB-type trusses in combination with standard non-visible trusses with a joint plate. BSB-type trusses (Blumer System Binder) are characterized by hidden connections. Steel sheets are inserted into a prepared groove and then connected with self-drilling pins into pre-drilled holes in the wood. In this family house, there are 3 BSB trusses above the living room to create an open space. Additionally, a passable gallery is suspended from the first truss.
