Prague Troja

Gazebo in the ornamental garden

The multipurpose gazebo in the ornamental part of the botanical garden in Prague is designed as an all-timber structure made of solid frames and wall panels, set on piles supported by a steel structure. Modern glued materials such as KVH and BSH from construction-grade spruce and visually exposed weather-resistant larch lumber are used in the wooden construction. The joining and anchoring of structural elements is ensured by steel bolts with bulldogs, self-tapping dowels, and screws. It is no surprise that the assembly work was carried out with maximum regard for the surrounding flora and that the resulting modern structure is sensitively connected to nature.
